(6NoBacon) &#8212; Pop superstar Lady Gaga has plans to perform in the Holy Land this summer, Israel\u2019s Channel 2 reported. (Jason Merritt\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Elsewhere on the American music scene, Beyonce, who was set to play Israel in the spring, may not make it due to what\u00a0<span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.haaretz.com\/news\/national\/1.561477\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">Haaretz<\/span><\/a><\/span><span style=\"font-family: inherit; color: black;\">\u00a0calls a \u201csnag\u201d with an Israeli concert production company. But Israeli Beliebers will be pleased to learn that Justin Bieber\u2019s previously announced show has an official date: May 14.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bob Dylan sued over comments on Croats<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The iconic singer-songwriter <strong>Bob Dylan<\/strong> was sued in France for inciting racial hatred based on a comment he made to Rolling Stone that could be read as drawing a parallel between Croats and Nazis. The story was published in the magazine\u2019s <span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/news\/bob-dylan-unleashed-a-wild-ride-on-his-new-lp-and-striking-back-at-critics-20120927\" target=\"_blank\">;<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Asked by the magazine if he saw any parallels between the 1860s and present-day America, Dylan answered: \u201cThis country is just too f***ed up about color. It\u2019s a distraction. People at each other\u2019s throats just because they are of a different color. It\u2019s the height of insanity, and it will hold any nation back \u2013 or any neighborhood back. Or any anything back. Blacks know that some whites didn\u2019t want to give up slavery \u2013 that if they had their way, they would still be under the yoke, and they can\u2019t pretend they don\u2019t know that. If you got a slave master or Klan in your blood, blacks can sense that. That stuff lingers to this day. Just like Jews can sense Nazi blood and the Serbs can sense Croatian blood.<\/p>\n<p>The Council of Croats was put off by the last part &#8212; so much so that it sued under France\u2019s laws banning hate speech or incitement to racial hatred, according to The Guardian per The Hollywood Reporter, French courts have agreed to hear the case, and Dylan has asked to appear for the hearings. If he skips out, he could be fined. We\u2019ll keep you posted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gal Gadot\u2019s condolences for \u2018Fast and Furious\u2019 star Paul Walker<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Israeli actress and model <strong>Gal Gadot<\/strong>, who has been featured in some of the \u201cFast and the Furious\u201d flicks, went online Sunday to share her grief over the tragic car accident that took the life of franchise star Paul Walker.<\/p>\n<p>Walker, 40, was in the passenger side of a two-seater Porsche Carerra GT on Saturday when the driver lost control and slammed into a post or tree. The car burst into flames; the driver was killed as well.<br \/>\nWalker reportedly had just left a charity event to aid victims of Typhoon Haiyam for his organization Reach Out Worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLost a dear friend today. So sudden and tragic,\u201d Gadot said on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GalGadot\/status\/407074910318505985\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"font-family: inherit; border: 1pt none windowtext; padding: 0in;\">Twitter<\/span><\/a>.
