She was 84.<\/p>\n<p>Bennett was a native and longtime resident of New Orleans, who attended school at Isidore Newman School and graduated from Loyola University with her Med Tech degree.<\/p>\n<p>Bennett proved to be<span> active in the Jewish community, both as a member of Touro Synagogue and of the National Council of Jewish Women.\u00a0 She was noted for her love of family and was an able baker.
