If not, tune into Ari Teman’s Twitter feed.

According to the New York Post, the Brooklyn-born comedian and JCorps founder used the popular website to rent out his apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood to a man named David Carter who claimed he needed to put up family in town for a wedding. But when Teman stopped home Friday night to pick up luggage, he saw his building management shutting down “Turn Up Part 2: The Pantie Raid,” a sex party revolving around “Big Beautiful Women.” In one Twitter post, the fete was called an “XXX FREAK FEST.”

Not only did Teman end up with a closet full of “damp” clothing and nearly $67,000 in damages to his apartment, but he’s been evicted, too.

Per the Post: “Airbnb has reimbursed him for some of the damages, although a final settlement is still in the works. The company is also paying Teman’s hotel bill until he finds another place to live.”

At least he got some good material out of it.

Lenny Kravitz’s uncle awarded posthumous Medal of Honor

Last week, President Obama awarded 24 Jewish, Hispanic and African-American veterans Medals of Honor they had earned but never received.

Many on the list are deceased, including a Jewish guy from Brooklyn, N.Y., named Lenny Kravitz, uncle of a certain musician and “Hunger Games” star you may have heard of. Hint: The veteran’s nephew was named for the hero.

“These families join us here today,” Obama said. “And they know, more than most, that because others laid down their lives for us, we’ve been able to live our lives in freedom, pursue our dreams. So there’s a legacy here born of sacrifice. That includes a soldier’s nephew — a kid from New York — who grew up to become one of the great rock stars of all time and who honors his uncle here today.”

See what the U.S. Army had to say about the elder Kravitz and his heroic exploits in Korea in March 1951.

Beastie Boys settle lawsuit with GoldieBlox over song parody

Yet another reason to love the Beastie Boys: Those guys know how to settle a lawsuit.

The band settled for an undisclosed amount with GoldieBlox over the toy company’s video ad that featured a parody of their hit song “Girls.”

The settlement includes the issuance of an apology by GoldieBlox, which will be posted on GoldieBlox’s website, and a payment by GoldieBlox, based on a percentage of its revenues, to one or more charities selected by the Beastie Boys that support science, technology, engineering and mathematics education for girls,” a spokesperson for the company told Rolling Stone.

Back in November, GoldieBlox’s video of little girls building a Rube Goldberg-like contraption to a version of “Girls” with more female-friendly lyrics went viral. The Beastie Boys expressed that they viewed this as copyright infringement. So GoldieBlox filed a lawsuit claiming the whole thing was entirely kosher because the ad was a parody and therefore protected under fair use.

The Beastie Boys said that while they loved the idea of empowering young girls, they also loved the idea of honoring the wishes of their late bandmate Adam Yauch, who indicated in his will that nothing he’d created could ever be used to sell products.

GoldieBlox pulled the song from the video and posted an apology letter to its website.

Then, in December, the Beastie Boys filed a countersuit, accusing the company of stealing music.

So yes, things got ugly, but we think this is a pretty great ending. Perhaps they might want to brainstorm with Natalie Portman for names of worthy charities? Just a thought.

Beyonce and Jay Z visit Anne Frank House

Beyonce, on tour in Amsterdam, visited the Anne Frank House last week with her better half, Jay Z.
