He was 85 years old.<\/p>\n<p>Miller specialized in civil engineering and was called upon to work with a number of consturction projects throughout his career. A veteran of\u00a0 the United States Army, Miller was a member of Congregation Gates of Prayer. He is survived by his wife Helen; sons Gregory (Colleen) and Jeffrey and his daughter Fayleah Evans.<\/p>\n<p>Funeral services were private. Donations are welcome to the<a title=\"Jewish Family Service\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jfsneworleans.org\/support-us\/\" target=\"_blank\"> Jewish Family Service &#8211; New Orleans<\/a>, 3330 West Esplanade Ave. 70002.
