{"id":17801,"date":"2014-08-18T09:37:34","date_gmt":"2014-08-18T15:37:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/?p=17801"},"modified":"2014-08-18T09:37:34","modified_gmt":"2014-08-18T15:37:34","slug":"israel-hosted-davis-cup-match-moved-to-sunrise-fla","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/blog\/israel-hosted-davis-cup-match-moved-to-sunrise-fla\/","title":{"rendered":"Israel-hosted Davis Cup match moved to Sunrise, Fla."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JERUSALEM (JTA) &#8212; Israel&#8217;s Davis Cup playoff with Argentina will be held in Sunrise, Fla., after being moved out of Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n<p>The Sept. 12-14 match was ordered out of Israel earlier this month by the International Tennis Federation at the request of the Argentine Tennis Association due to the conflict in Gaza.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday, the Davis Cup Committee approved the neutral venue of the Sunrise Tennis Club proposed earlier in the week by the Israel Tennis Association.
