{"id":27301,"date":"2015-12-02T14:40:10","date_gmt":"2015-12-02T20:40:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/?p=27301"},"modified":"2016-04-17T07:15:21","modified_gmt":"2016-04-17T13:15:21","slug":"dorothy-dot-shushan-passes-away-memorial-set-for-friday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/blog\/dorothy-dot-shushan-passes-away-memorial-set-for-friday\/","title":{"rendered":"Dorothy &#8216;Dot&#8217; Shushan passes away; memorial set for Friday"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DOROTHY &#8220;DOT&#8221; SHUSHAN, a well-known community leader and volunteer, died December 2, 2015, at her New Orleans home following a long illness.<\/p>\n<p>She and her sister Sylvia were noted as having married two brothers &#8211; Abraham Louis\u00a0 \u201cA. L.\u201d and Shepherd \u201cShep\u201d Shushan &#8211; and went from bearing identical maiden names to identical married names.
