She was 94.<\/p>\n<p>Predeceased by her husband Benjamin Rutman, she is survived by her daughters Eileen Aronivitch (Marty) and Harriet Liebmann (Frank) and her son Earl Rutman (Sophie) and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Eileen and Marty Aronovitch, Earl and Sophie Rutman and Harriet and Frank Liebmann, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>A funeral service was conducted by Rabbi Deborah Silver from Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. in Metairie on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Tikvat Shalom Cemetery in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose, Louisiana followed immediately after the service.<\/p>\n<p>Memorial contributions are suggested to Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, 3700 West Esplanade Ave., Metairie, LA.
