She was 65.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">A New Orleans native,&nbsp;Ber earned her teaching certifications and taught in area schools. She is survived by her mother, Rosemary Ber, and her brother Michael Ber (Lellia).<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Graveside services were held on Monday, April 2 at 11:00 a.m. at Lake Lawn Metairie Cemetery.
