In November, Trace Lysette, who plays a recurring character on the series, and Van Barnes, Tambor\u2019s former assistant, accused him of sexual misconduct.<\/p>\n<p>Creator Jill Soloway announced the show\u2019s finale in a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/features\/lines-got-blurred-jeffrey-tambor-an-up-close-look-at-harassment-claims-transparent-1108939\">story<\/a>&nbsp;about the allegations against Tambor in the Hollywood Reporter Monday.<\/p>\n<p>Tambor has denied the allegations. In an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/features\/lines-got-blurred-jeffrey-tambor-an-up-close-look-at-harassment-claims-transparent-1108939\">interview<\/a>&nbsp;with the Hollywood Reporter, his first since the allegations came to light, the Jewish actor said: \u201cLines got blurred.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued: \u201cI was difficult, I was mean\u2026.I was rude to my assistant. I was moody. Sometimes I didn\u2019t talk at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He said of Barnes\u2019 allegations: \u201cI dispute her account. I did raise my voice at times, I was moody at times, there were times when I was tactless. But as for the other stuff, absolutely not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTransparent\u201d has been a major success for Amazon, which released the show on its streaming service, garnering multiple Emmy Awards, including one for Tambor as outstanding lead actor in 2016.
