(Stanley Weston\/Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Berg, following his baseball days in the 1920s and &#8217;30s, worked for the Office of Strategic Services, or OSS \u2014 a precursor to the CIA. He went on missions in then-Yugoslavia, where he tracked resistance groups, and Italy, where he interviewed physicists about the German nuclear program.<\/p>\n<p>The Cooperstown exhibit, titled \u201cMoe Berg: Big League Spy,\u201d looks at his exploits in both worlds through baseball artifacts and wartime documents.<\/p>\n<p>A New Yorker who spoke more than 10 languages (seven fluently) and graduated from Princeton, Berg was the subject of&nbsp; the film&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/links.jta.org\/a\/1161\/click\/5979\/175514\/3360d653e6bcb12caf051a0bcc7bb5e9abfb9262\/22b312b06a926a5c7d4fa189f26da3e3176bf6f3?ana=InV0bV9zb3VyY2U9bWpsX21hcm9wb3N0JnV0bV9jYW1wYWlnbj1NSkwmdXRtX21lZGl1bT1lbWFpbCI=\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cThe Catcher Was a Spy,\u201d<\/a>&nbsp;released in June.
