(JTA) \u2014 Chinese-Jewish chef Molly Yeh was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for best culinary host for her show \u201cGirl Meets Farm.\u201d<\/p>\n
In an Instagram post, Yeh wrote that she is \u201ccompletely verklempt\u201d to be nominated.

\u201cGirl Meets Farm,\u201d premiered on the Food Network last summer, and its third season is set to premiere on Thursday.<\/p>\n
Yeh, 30, became popular through her casual, aesthetically pleasing blog my name is yeh. She occasionally melds her two heritages together in recipes, and now uses ingredients from the North Dakota farm she moved to with her husband Nick Hagen.<\/p>\n
\u201cGrowing up in the suburbs of Chicago and living in New York, it didn\u2019t even strike me as a possibility that a place could really exist without tons of Jews,\u201d Yeh told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency about her culture shock moving to the Midwest. \u201cIf I wasn\u2019t going to be maintaining Jewish identity and celebrating Jewish holidays and cooking Jewish food on the farm, nobody was going to be.\u201d<\/p>\n
The couple is expecting their first child this month, but Yeh is still filming the show.<\/p>\n
