He was 84.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A native and lifelong resident of New Orleans, he was a graduate of Fortier High School and attended Tulane University. Gibbs was a past president of City Park Tennis Club and the Deep South Fashions Association.&nbsp; He was a fan of the Boston \u201cRed Sox,\u201d a love of which he shared with other family members.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his children Pamela Gibbs, Craig Gibbs and Mitchell Gibbs, sisters Roz Schwartz and Yvonne Slutz as well as Linda Gibbs, the mother of his children.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Graveside services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in Hebrew Rest Cemetery No. 3, 2100 Pelopidas St. at Frenchmen Street. Rabbi Deborah Silver will officiate.
