{"id":4995,"date":"2013-01-24T17:15:05","date_gmt":"2013-01-24T23:15:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/?p=4995"},"modified":"2013-01-24T17:15:08","modified_gmt":"2013-01-24T23:15:08","slug":"hebrew-playboy-coming-to-israel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.crescentcityjewishnews.com\/blog\/hebrew-playboy-coming-to-israel\/","title":{"rendered":"Hebrew Playboy coming to Israel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>NEW YORK (JTA) &#8212; A Hebrew version of Playboy magazine is coming to Israel.<\/p>\n<p>Attorney Daniel Pomerantz, an Israeli immigrant from Chicago, has negotiated the rights for the Israeli version of the men&#8217;s magazine, Haaretz reported. There is no launch date yet but eventually it will be available in print and online.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe went to Hefner\u2019s estate with the Israeli team to learn from the Playboy experts,\u201d said Pomerantz, speaking of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. \u201cHefner was very excited that there was a word [for bunny] in Hebrew \u2013 it proved that there is a cultural link between the Playboy brand and Israeli culture.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The magazine will have articles from international versions of Playboy translated into Hebrew, and also will feature Israeli writers.
