PAULA LEVY JOSEPH, a homemaker and mother died on Sunday, September 1, 2019. She was 94.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
A native of New Orleans, she was a longtime member of Congregation Gates of Prayer and an active member of its Sisterhood.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
She was predeceased by her husband Leonard C. Joseph and is survived by her children Jay L. Joseph (Andrea) and Lynn J. Friedman, four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.<\/div>\n
 <\/div>\n
Graveside Services were held on Wednesday, September 4, at the Garden of Memories, Garden Crypts Mausoleum at 2:30 p.m. Rabbis David Gerber and Lexi Erdheim officiated.<\/div>\n

In lieu of Flowers, donations are suggested to the Len Joseph Memorial Fund at Gates of Prayer. Arrangements were by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home ,1600 N. Causeway Blvd. in Metairie.  Condolences may be expressed online at: www.tharpsontheimerfh.com<\/a><\/div>\n
