He apologized for the move after the game.<\/p>\n<p>But the Jewish third baseman\u2019s blast was historic, too: It was his fifth in a World Series, setting the all-time record for most World Series home runs by a third baseman.<\/p>\n<p>It was his third homer of this year\u2019s Series, which also made him the youngest American League player to hit three in a Fall Classic since Mickey Mantle in 1956.<\/p>\n<p>If the Astros had won the Series \u2014 they lost the&nbsp; decisive seventh game on Wednesday night \u2014 Bregman would have enjoyed a solid case to be its Most Valuable Player.
