What is another Jewish connection in Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor\u2019s life?<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"v2 ps5 s8 c7\">\n<p class=\"p3 f7\">A.<span class=\"f8\">In 1984, Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor spent five months in Israel as a volunteer on Kibbutz Hulata, where she picked citrus fruit and began developing her songwriting skills.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 f9\">B.<span class=\"f8\">O\u2019Connor was scheduled to perform in a peace concert arranged by Israeli and Palestinian women\u2019s groups in Jerusalem in 1997 at a festival called \u201cTwo Capitals, Two States,\u201d but she canceled after receiving death threats from members of (now Israeli Minister of National Security) Itamar Ben-Gvir\u2019s Kahanist organization The Ideological Front.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 f10\">C.<span class=\"f8\">Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor named one of her sons Ne\u2019viim, the Hebrew word for \u201cprophets.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 f11\">D.<span class=\"f8\">O\u2019Connor\u2019s father John Oliver \u201cSe\u00e1n\u201d O\u2019Connor was a barrister in Dublin. He worked for a law firm that was headed by a nephew of Israeli president Chaim Herzog, who was was born in Ireland.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3 f13\">E.<span class=\"f8\">Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky was a respected rabbi in Springfield, Illinois. But when his son Herschel decided to become a clown the rabbi was angry, as this was not what he considered a proper profession for a Jewish boy, leading the rabbi to disown his son, now known as Krusty. Sin\u00e9ad O\u2019Connor was in college at the time, and she once performed on campus, singing the song&nbsp;<\/span><span class=\"f14\">Tears of a Clown<\/span><span class=\"f8\">, after which she raised a picture of Rabbi Hyman Krustofsky and tore it into many pieces as she uttered the words, \u201cOy vey, Rabbi. So he\u2019s a clown.
