The brief and inspirational annual essays were written to provoke thought and conversation surrounding the great issues of the day. These timeless messages remain as relevant today as when they were written, and readers will be able to look to these for inspiration for the Jewish New Year.

The second resource is a series of six posters all including inspirational quotes from Rabbi Sacks about the Succot holiday, intended to adorn the walls of the sukkah. These print-at-home posters will be available for download at: www.rabbisacks.org.

Both resources are available free of charge.

“Every year, when Rosh Hashanah approached, Rabbi Sacks would craft a short yet profound message to Jewish communities worldwide, drawing from key moments of the previous year to offer inspiration for the upcoming year,” said The Rabbi Sacks Legacy Director of Communications Jonny Lipczer. “We have delved into the archives to bring these messages together and share them ahead of Rosh Hashanah, which serve as a reminder of the enduring brilliance of Rabbi Sacks’ wisdom.”

Rabbi Sacks passed away on November 7, 2020. At that time his professional initiative, the Office of Rabbi Sacks, transitioned to The Rabbi Sacks Legacy to perpetuate the timeless and universal wisdom of Rabbi Sacks as a teacher of Torah, a moral voice, and a leader of leaders. Through innovative programs and an active digital and social media presence, The Rabbi Sacks Legacy continues to bring the vision and philosophy of the world-renowned leader directly to generations to come.
