She had many meaningful chapters and communities in New York, Vermont, and California where she raised her daughter, was an engaged community member in Alameda, Temple Emanu-El, DKG, and others. Along the way, she built lifelong friendships and continued that practice once she moved to New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Kruger was an artist, natural conversationalist, and spiritual person with strong principles.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">While living in New Orleans, she embraced life fully and connected to her Jewish and Greater New Orleans communities through Touro Synagogue, the Jewish Community Center, and the Willow School, Together New Orleans as well as the Tulane Women\u2019s Association.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She enjoyed Mardi Gras family and her attachment to the Grannies. She marched to the beat of her own drum with joie de vivre, her spirit a reflection of the city she came to love.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Kruger Hill (Graham) and two grandsons.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The memorial service was held on Friday, June 13, at 2:30 p.m. at Touro Synagogue, 4238 St. Charles Avenue.
