She was a devotee of the daily Wordsearch feature&nbsp; and regularly solved the daily newspaper crossword puzzles.<\/p>\n<p>She often worked with her husband&#8217;s practice of optometry and also assisted him with his participation in a barbershop singing group and the Society for the Preservation of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Justin Heiman and is survived by her husband of 73 years, Dr. Solomon Heiman; her daughter Linda Watsky; her son Mark Heiman (Sharon); her brother Ed Mishlove; three grandchilddren and four great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>A graveside service was&nbsp; held on Sunday, August 17, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at New Chevra Thilim Memorial Park, 5000 Iberville Street.
