(Photo by Avi Ohayon\/GPO)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In his meeting with Vu\u010di\u0107, the prime minister discussed ways to extend the cooperation between Israel and Serbia, particularly in the fields of security and trade.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPrime Minister Netanyahu expressed his gratitude to President Vu\u010di\u0107 for his unwavering support of Israel\u2019s efforts to free all of the hostages held by Hamas in Gaza, including Alon Ohel, who holds Serbian citizenship,\u201d the PMO said.<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu shared the details of his recent&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/hamas-releases-propaganda-video-of-israeli-hostage-alon-ohel\/\">conversation<\/a>&nbsp;with Ohel\u2019s parents, following the dissemination by Hamas of a propaganda video showing their son in the terror organization\u2019s captivity.<\/p>\n<p>Before his departure, Netanyahu said, \u201cAt the Assembly, I will speak the truth\u2014the truth of Israel\u2019s citizens, the truth of IDF soldiers, the truth of our state. I will denounce those leaders who, instead of condemning the murderers, rapists and child-burners, seek to grant them a state in the heart of the Land of Israel. General Assembly, the Prime Minister\u2019s Office launched a public awareness&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/israel-launches-nyc-ad-campaign-to-spotlight-oct-7-hamas-atrocities\/\">campaign<\/a>&nbsp;in New York City highlighting the atrocities committed by Hamas on Oct. 7, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Netanyahu was slated to address the General Assembly at 9 a.m. local time (4 p.m. in Israel). An Israeli official told JNS that Netanyahu had invited American Jewish leaders to attend in a bid to counter what is expected to be \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/cheap-stunts-israeli-envoy-says-of-palestinian-mass-walkout-planned-for-netanyahu-un-speech\/\">a hostile reception<\/a>\u201d at the world body.<\/p>\n<p>As part of a public diplomacy effort, the PMO said it had directed \u201ccivilian elements, in cooperation with the IDF, to place loudspeakers on the backs of trucks on the Israeli side of the Gaza border so that Prime Minister Netanyahu\u2019s historic U.N.
