We don\u2019t want to be involved with having somebody else get in and we have the same situation that we had for the last long period of years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He warned that the American military was prepared to carry out a second and \u201cmuch larger\u201d attack if necessary. \u201cWe\u2019re not afraid of boots on the ground,\u201d Trump continued, as U.S. forces had \u201cboots on the ground last night at a very high level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that Washington was \u201cdesignating people right now\u201d to run Venezuela, and \u201cwe\u2019re going to let you know who those people are.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump said that an American partnership with the Latin American country will make Venezuelans \u201crich, independent and safe. \u2026 They\u2019re not going to suffer any more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that the U.S. will be \u201cvery strongly involved\u201d in Venezuela\u2019s oil industry. \u201cWe have the greatest oil companies in the world\u2014the biggest, the greatest, and we\u2019re going to be very much involved in it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking with&nbsp;<em>Fox News<\/em>&nbsp;earlier on Saturday, Trump hailed the forces that executed the operation, saying that they \u201cdid an incredible job. They rehearsed and practiced like nobody has ever seen. And I was told by real military people that there\u2019s no other country on earth that can do such a maneuver. If you would\u2019ve seen what happened, I mean I watched it literally like I was watching a television show.
