Credit: Israeli Defense Ministry Spokesperson\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Later on Wednesday, the IDF targeted another Hezbollah terrorist in the Bourj el-Chamali area of Lebanon\u2019s south.<\/p>\n<p>The military on Monday attacked Hezbollah training camps. The IDF also said it struck tunnel shafts used to store weapons at several sites in Southern Lebanon, adding that \u201cunusual\u201d Hezbollah terrorist activity had been identified at those locations in recent months.<\/p>\n<p>Hezbollah leader&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/hezbollah-leader-says-israeli-strikes-cannot-continue\/\">Naim Qassem<\/a>&nbsp;declared on Saturday that the Iranian-backed terrorist army would not disarm and \u201cthe aggression against Lebanon cannot continue,\u201d claiming the organization had the \u201cright to defend ourselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The remarks followed statements by Lebanese Foreign Minister&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jns.org\/lebanese-fm-in-negotiations-with-israel-nothing-is-taboo\/\">Youssef Rajji<\/a>, who said in a recent interview with&nbsp;<em>Sky News Arabia<\/em>&nbsp;that Israel retained the right to strike Lebanon until Hezbollah fully disarms.<\/p>\n<p>Rajji was quoted as saying that \u201cas long as weapons are not permanently restricted,\u201d Jerusalem \u201cunfortunately has the right to continue its attacks according to the agreement.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hezbollah started attacking the Jewish state on Oct. 8, 2023, a day after the Hamas-led terrorist massacre in southern Israel, opening a second front in the country\u2019s north that lasted until the Nov. 27, 2024, truce deal.<\/p>\n<p>The truce terms required Hezbollah to disarm, starting in regions adjacent to the border, with the Lebanese Armed Forces being mandated to establish a monopoly over weapons in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The Israeli Prime Minister\u2019s Office in a Jan. 8 statement said that while Beirut\u2019s efforts were \u201can encouraging beginning,\u201d they were \u201cfar from sufficient\u201d given Hezbollah\u2019s ongoing Iran-aided rearmament efforts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States between Israel and Lebanon states clearly, Hezbollah must be fully disarmed.
