the event raised\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/finance.yahoo.com\/news\/bgc-partners-cantor-fitzgerald-raise-005000109.html\" target=\"_blank\">$12 million<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dad holds up Winehouse statue unveiling<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Londoners looking forward to the debut of a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.telegraph.co.uk\/culture\/music\/music-news\/9948701\/First-look-at-Amy-Winehouse-statue-planned-for-Camden-venue.html\" target=\"_blank\">life-size statue of Amy Winehouse<\/a> are going to have to wait a bit longer.<\/p>\n<p>Plans to unveil the bronze rendition of the late singer in Camden, north London, this month have been put on hold by her father, <strong>Mitch Winehouse<\/strong>, who apparently didn\u2019t like artist Scott Eaton\u2019s final design.<\/p>\n<p>The news comes by way of Amy\u2019s ex, Reg Traviss.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe doesn\u2019t want anything to go up that he\u2019s not completely satisfied with,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/au.news.yahoo.com\/latest\/a\/-\/newshome\/18848472\/amy-winehouse-statue-unveiling-delayed\/\" target=\"_blank\">Traviss told the British newspaper Mail<\/a> on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>A new unveiling date has not yet been set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Natalie Portman wants to be French citizen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Natalie Portman<\/strong>is dying to become a citizen of France &#8212; But I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s possible because I already have an American and an Israeli passport,\u201d said the actress and wife of Frenchman Benjamin Millepied. \u201cPerhaps I should add an \u2018h\u2019 to my name to make it sound more French [Nathalie]?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Portman-Millepieds are planning to move to Paris next year.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Honors for Sacha Baron Cohen <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles (got that?) is awarding <strong>Sacha Baron Cohen<\/strong> the Charlie Chaplin Britannia Award for Excellence in Comedy (and that one, too?)\u00a0at its Los Angeles Britannia Awards on Nov. 9.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s not the first BAFTA award for Cohen, who is being recognized for his contribution to comedic film.
