Ellen Harrison, retired nurse, is laid to rest at 79
ELLEN HARRISON, a retired registered nurse, died from cancer at the Hospice House in Slidell, on December 30, 2021, just days shy of her 80th birthday.
A native of Montgomery, AL., Harrison was an only child, who worked in home health care most of her life. She also loved breeding and showing dogs at dog shows around the country. Her love for Judaism was apparent in everything she did. She kept a kosher home, studied the Torah daily and always celebrated Shabbat and other holidays with enthusiasm and love.
