Four students graduate NOJDS

Four New Orleans Jewish Day School fifth grade students were recognized in recent graduation ceremonies on the evening of May 30. Each student was for cited for areas in which each excelled.

The four graduates from the 2012 class of the New Orleans Jewish Day School.

William Hendrick was honored as the star reader of the year. He will be enrolling at Audubon Charter School in the fall. Elise Schneider was honored for her excellence in reading and writing Hebrew, while Nitzayah Schiller received a commendation for overall academic excellence. Both girls will be attending Robert Mills Lusher Charter School for their sixth grade studies. Katie Querouze, who will be attending Louise S. McGehee School in the fall, was honored for her creative writing skills.
