Governor John Bel Edwards will be speaking on Louisiana’s present and future economic partnership with Israel on Monday evening at a special talk being given at the University of New Orleans.
Edwards traveled to Israel last fall and will be discussing the trip and sharing his vision for an enhanced trade relationship with the country going forward.
The Governor’s remarks will be preceded by a panel discussion featuring Commissioner of the Division of Administration for the State of Louisiana, Jay Dardenne, president and CEO of The Water Institute of the Gulf, Justin Ehrenwerth, and vice president and Chief Commercial Officer for the Port of New Orleans, Robert Landry.
The panel will be moderated by Elizabeth Crisp, the Capitol reporter for The Advocate.
