The Greater New Orleans Section of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) and the Greater New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah will present a joint seminar titled “What I Want My Family to Know…Another Kind of Family Planning” on Sunday, January 26.
The event will be held at Temple Sinai, 6227 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.. The event is the last in their series dealing with end-of-life planning with this session dedicated to young famlies, who might need to be exposed to questions about the future and to get their planning started.
Temple Sinai Rabbi Daniel Sherman will welcome panelists Melissa Pennebaker, a palliative care nurse practitioner at Touro Infirmary; Rose Sher, an estate planning specialist at Jones Walker Law Firm; and Nancy Timm, LCSW, BACS, a clinical social work and board-approved clinical supervisor at Pelsts, Kirkhart and Associates, LLC.
