The Readers’ Circle of Hadassah New Orleans will host a discussion of “Tap Dancing on Everest: A Young Doctor’s Unlikely Adventure” with the author, Mimi Zieman, M.D., on Thursday, January 16 at 7:30 p.m. Please see the attached flyer.

“Tap Dancing on Everest” is a true survival story about risk-taking in the modern world. In this inspiring coming-of-age travel memoir, which includes solo hiking through Nepal, Mimi Zieman brings readers into an understanding of her own life. 

A daughter of Jewish immigrants and a Holocaust survivor father, she was raised in the New York City of the 1970s New York City. Her voice speaks of empowerment and an opportunity to succeed in a much larger outside world.
