The annual Keepers of the Gate Chai Tea sponsored by the Greater New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah was held at the home of Susan Green on the afternoon of Sun., Sept. 22.
At the gathering, Lee Kansas, past president of the Southern Region and a former New Orleans Chapter president, spoke about the groundbreaking research being conducted at the Hadassah Hospitals in Israel in stem cell therapy for Alzheimer¹s disease.
The event is held to honor those dedicated Hadassah members who pledge to give at least $1,000 per year for as long as they are able.
Betty Moore and Helen Stone, co-presidents, were on hand to welcome the guests including Diana Warth Bregman, director of development for Hadassah’s Southern Region.
