Israel Ambassador Yoram Ettinger will be speaking twice next weekend as part of an extended partnership with the Israel Bonds organization. The ambassador will be speaking at Congregation Beth Israel, 4004 West Esplanade Avenue, next Friday night, April 20, following regular Kabbalat Shabbat worship service. The dinner will follow Shabbat services. The topic of his talke will be “At 70 – Israel’s unique contributions to American interests.” The cost for the dinner is $18 for members and $25 for non-members.
The following morning, Saturday, April 21, Ettinger will be speaking at Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, 3700 West Esplanade Avenue, following Shabbat morning services. His talk, which is free to the public, will be on “Contemporary challenges for the surging Jewish State.”
