NCJW anti-Semitism series begins Sunday

The Greater New Orleans Section of the NCJW will present a series via Zoom that will deal with hate and prejudice directed against Jews.

Titled “The Scourge of anti-Semitism,” the will presented in four parts and will feature nationally-recognized authorities on the subject.

The first program will be presented on Sunday, June 28, and will feature Gil Troy, a History professor from McGill University, who was a 2015 visiting scholar at the Brookings Institute.  It is titled “A Global Historical Examination of both Traditional and more current forms of anti-Semitism” and begins at 3:00 p.m. CDT.

An author of nine books, including biographies on Ronald Reagan and Hillary Clinton, Troy is a recognized authority on the American presidency and ppresidential campaigning. A columnist for The Jerusalem Post, he also writes a column for The Daily Beast on forgotten history.

The program is designed to last 45-minutes with time to follow for a Q&A session immediately following the formal presentation.
