NCJW to sponsor Virtual Town Hall for judges

The New Orleans Section of the National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) has just announced a new coalition with several other highly visible political organizations intended to educate and inform the public about the upcoming elections for area judges.

Titled “The Justice We Want Depends on the Judges We Choose,” these Virtual Town Halls will hear from each of the candidates in a setting of 50-minutes each.

Candidates from the contests for New Orleans Municipal Court, Magistrate Court, Criminal District Court and the Louisiana Supreme Court will all be heard.

Candidates will respond to questions submitted to them by hosts, while the public will be able to view the interviews for free via Zoom links. Zoom links will be served on a first-come, first served basis with others listening in on other social media like Facebook and YouTube.

Here is the link to register.
