NJC announces changes in board positions

Jeremy Shalett, who has served as the president of the Board of Trustees for the Northshore Jewish Congregation, announced this week he is stepping down from his position, although he will remain as a board member.

Tom Zimny, who was appointed vice president, will assume Shalett’s duties as the acting president in the interim. However, Zimny and his wife had also previously announced plans to leave the area at the end of the month for professional opportunities.

At a meeting of the board on November 12, it was determined that new board positions will be allocated as such, effective December 1, 2018, as such: Lena Liller, president; Craig Bialy, vice president; Shannon Noonan, secretary, and Mike Fawer, treasurer.
