NJC announces “fun’d” raiser for November 3

The Northshore Jewish Congregation will be presenting its annual “Fun’d Raiser” on November 3. This year’s event is slated to coincide with the LSU Tigers vs. Alabama Crimson Tide football game and is titled “A Tailgate of Two Cities.”  The event will held from 6:00-11:00 pm at the Castine Center at Pelican Park in Mandeville, LA. The rematch of the two SEC teams pits the same teams that battled in last year’s national college football championship, which Alabama won. Members and friends of NJC are encouraged to tailgate and support the team of their choice. There will be food, beverages and an open bar provided. Both an ongoing silent Auction and a live auction will be held to benefit NJC as well as several raffles throughout the night. A portion of the proceeds raised will also be donated to The Brees Foundation set up by New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees and his wife Brittany.
