Selma Weinstein Krilov graveside funeral set for Thursday
SELMA GLORIA WEINSTEIN KRILOV, a beloved homemaker, wife and matriarch died on Monday, Dec. 21, 2020 at the age of 96.
Krilov was a longtime member of Congregation Chevra Thilim, which was founded as Orthodox and later associated with the Conservative movement. She became a member of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation when the former Tikvat Shalom congregation merged with Chevra Thilim.
For 63 years, she was married to former furniture store owner Morris Krilov, who predeceased her in 2013. She is survived by her two sons Sanford Krilov (Leslie) and Alan Krilov of Hammond as well as her foster son Dr. Robert Trestman (Bonnie Hennig-Trestman, Ph.D.) of Roanoke, VA.; two grandchildren, two foster grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted on Thursday, December 24 at 1:30 p.m. at Chevra Thilim Memorial Park, 5000 Iberville St with Rabbi Deborah Silver officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the charity of your choice. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
