Beginning this Friday, July 13, Rabbi Alexis Berk will lead Friday night worship services at 6:00 p.m. in the main sanctuary at 4238 St. Charles Avenue. Saturday morning worship services are slated to begin at 10:30 a.m.  Cantor Jamie Marx will also have an active role in the services.

The move to the large sanctuary is necessitated this weekend because of ongoing renovations in the Forgotson Chapel including repainting and the installation of a new sound system. For a complete listing of all URJ area services in July and August, check out the CCJN Calendar and for more information call Touro Synagogue at 504-895-4843. August services will be held in Metairie at Congregation Gates of Prayer, 4000 West Esplanade Avenue .
