Tulane Hillel has power; shut down for holiday

The Tulane Hillel’s Goldie and Morris Mintz Center for Jewish Life has had power restored, but is still shut down for the Labor Day holiday. It is expected to re-open on Tuesday morning, but no word has been received as to when customers can expect the Hillel Ktichen will also re-open. The Hillel Kitchen is one of but a few kosher restaurants in New Orleans.

The others are Kosher Cajun Grocery and New York Deli, which has been shut down due to lack of power, Casablanca Restaurant, also shut down due to lack of power, and all Café du Monde locations.
