‘Yiddishe Shtunde’ concluding its run Sat. night

“Yiddishe Shtunde,” a play written by Elliott Raisen and based on the old Yiddish radio shows he grew up with in New York, will enjoy its final two performances tonight and tomorrow night at 8:00 p.m. at the Theatre at St. Claude, 2240 St. Claude Avenue.

The play with some musical elements is on a double bill with another play by Raisen titled “So This Is Heaven?,” a comedy in which a Jewish man is confronted with the Christian concept of heaven.

Both plays star local performers Maggie Corbett, Margeaux Fanning, Bunny Love and Matthew Mickal. Theatre at St. Claude owner and director Jim Fitzmorris plays the role of the narrator in both pieces.

Tickets are $20.00 and are available online here.
