Accountant Dora Rutman rites held

DORA RUTMAN, an accountant and bookkeeper, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 29, 2016. She was 94.

Predeceased by her husband Benjamin Rutman, she is survived by her daughters Eileen Aronivitch (Marty) and Harriet Liebmann (Frank) and her son Earl Rutman (Sophie) and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Eileen and Marty Aronovitch, Earl and Sophie Rutman and Harriet and Frank Liebmann, five grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A funeral service was conducted by Rabbi Deborah Silver from Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home, 1600 N. Causeway Blvd. in Metairie on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Interment in Tikvat Shalom Cemetery in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, St. Rose, Louisiana followed immediately after the service.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, 3700 West Esplanade Ave., Metairie, LA. Arrangements were by Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home.
