Claire Smolensky Katz rites held on June 18

CLAIRE SMOLENSKY KATZ, a housewife and volunteer, passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026. She was 94.

She was married for 65 years and predeceased by the late Leonard “Boo” Katz  in 2017. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Philip Katz (Ruth)  and Larry Katz (Nita) of Mandeville, three grandchildren and one great-grandson. 

A private graveside service for the family was held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Hebrew Rest #3 Cemetery, 2100 Pelopidas Street.
