Hadassah to offer “Alive and Beating” seminar on transplants, organ donation

The Greater New Orleans Chapter of Hadassah will be presenting an informative seminar on the ethical, emotional and cultural dimension of organ donation and transplantation.

Titled “Alive and Beating, The Power and Ethics of Transplant Medicine,” the event will showcase a group of leading medical experts discussing the ethical, emotional and cultural dimension of organ donation and transplantation.

The program will aim to foster dialogue at the intersection of literature, health and community awareness, highlighting advances in transplant science and the pioneering work at Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem.

There are a number of real stories from the transplant community that will be shared.
