IT guru Sunny Robert Solomon is laid to rest

SUNNY ROBERT SOLOMON, an IT consultant, died suddenly on August 2, 2020. He was 41.

A New Orleans native and a member of Congregation Gates of Prayer, he was also associated with JNOLA, the Jewish singles group associated with the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans.

Solomon graduated from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree. 

Never married, he is survived by his sister Traci Roane (Ripley) and his brother Carey Solomon. 

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, August  4 at Hebrew Rest Cemetery No. 3 at 2101 Pelopidas Street at Frenchmen Street. Rabbi David Gerber officiated.
