JCRS College Scholarship Applications Due by June 30

The Jewish Children’s Regional Service (JCRS)offers need-based scholarships and no-interest loans to Jewish students in a seven-state region. Applicants who reside in Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Tennessee, or Texas are eligible to apply. They may attend any accredited college or vocational school anywhere in the United States.

In 2025, 109 students received aid totaling $478,000 for higher education, helping make college more accessible and affordable.

Applications are due on June 30 for full consideration and priority funding. While applications may continue to be accepted after that date, funding decisions begin with students who meet the priority deadline.

JCRS has recently transitioned to a new application system. As a result, both new and returning students will need to create an account before applying.
