Jewish Federation tops all others for Give NOLA Day

For the first time ever, the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans secured the top spot for fundraising organizations in the important Most Dollars Raised category on GiveNOLA Day, this past Tuesday, May 5.

The Federation pulled in $324,351, out of more the more than $8 million dollars raised for all of their participating non-profit organizations in the large organizations category. 

The top prize netted another $7,500 for the Federation’s efforts.

The annual event is held each May by the Greater New Orleans Foundation that encourages gifting to non-profits with special prizes for wins in categories like Most Unique Donors and for those that secured the most money or most unique donors during a given hourly segment.
