EMILY HART ROSEN,  a homemaker and mother  passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the age of 91.

Born in Opelousas, she lived in New Orleans her entire life. She attended Sophie Newcomb College before she married and raised her family. 

She married her first husband, Dr. Noah Leon Hart ,in 1956 and they enjoyed 34 years together until his death. In 1995, she remarried Charles Rosen II until his passing in 2005.

A longtime member of Temple Sinai, she is survived by her five children Marilyn Hart, Jon Hart Carter, Janet Hart Wilson (Scott), Max Hart (Lisa) and Haas Hart Wallace (Terry), 14 grandchildren and two  great-grandchildren.

Private services will be conducted today, Friday, February 5 at Hebrew Rest Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested  to Temple Sinai, The Gayle and Tom Benson Cancer Center or the charity of your choice.
