Anne Uhry, dentist and longtime community member

ANNE UHRY, DDS., a dentist and longtime New Orleans area member associated with many community organizations died Thursday, December 6. She was 74. In recent years Uhry had been a regular attendee at the Northshore Jewish Community, but was held in high esteem at Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, where she was also a member. She also had been a member of the Sisterhood at Touro Synagogue for a short time. A member of Hadassah, she was also involved with the Tammany Trace Community. A private funeral will be conducted by Rabbi John Nimon on Sunday.
