Airline reservationist Jacob Kottle dies at 87

JACOB KOTTLE, an airline reservationist died on Sat., Aug. 23. He was 87.

Kottle is survived by his long-time partner, Patricia Higginbotham, her daughter Ann (Brad) Jerome, his sister Hannah Tischansky (Kenneth) and two grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, August 26, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the New Chevra Thilim Cemetery at 5000 Iberville Street, officiated by Rabbi David Cohen-Henriquez of Conservative Congregation Shir Chadash.

A Shivah Minyan will follow tomorrow evening, August 26, 2025 at 6:15 PM, at the home of Lauren Goodman in Uptown New Orleans.
