Le Petit Theatre adds Feb. 9 performance for ‘Golda’s Balcony’

Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carré announced this past week that it was extending its run of “Golda’s Balcony,” the William Gibson play on the life of Golda Meier for an additional performance on Sun., February 9.

The reason was to make up for the two previously cancelled performances of the one-woman play for its opening night, Fri., January 24 and Sat., January 25, caused by the illness of star Claire Moncrief. The show did run last Sunday, the same day of a benefit performance for Jewish Endowment Foundation of Louisiana.

A talkback via Skype with original Broadway producer, David Fishelson was held immediately following the show.
