Attorney Ruth Force funeral set for today

RUTH MORRIS FORCE, a retired attorney for the U. S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Louisiana, died on Monday, July 13, at Touro Infirmary after an extended illness. She was 80.

Force was a native of Camden, N.J. and was a retired U.S. Attorney.

She is survived by her husband Robert Force, sons Josh Force (Mara) and Dr. Seth Force (Sara Marder, M.D.) of Atlanta, brothers Alvan and David Morris and two grandchildren. .

The funeral took place on Wednesday, July 15, in the chapel of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation, 3700 West Esplanade Avenue in Metairie, at 10:00 a.m.  Rabbi Ethan Linden officiated.

Memorials are suggested to Shir Chadash. Tharp-Sontheimer-Tharp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
