CCJN joins in mourning passing of Anne Chauveau

ANNIE CHAUVEAU, the mother of Shir Chadash Conservative Congregation’s Rabbi Deborah Silver, expired in England after an extended illness.

The rabbi will be in England for the funeral and the start of the Shivah period. She is expected back just after New Year’s Day. A special 

A special minyan in her memory will be held at Shir Chadash, 3700 W. Esplanade Avenue Norfth,  on Thursday, January 4, at 7:00 am followed by breakfast.

The funeral was held earlier today, December 29, and the  Crescent City Jewish News extends its condolences to Rabbi Silver and her siblings Judith, Adam and Rachel Silver as well as their uncle Michael Chauveau (Phy), the brother of the deceased.

We hope the family and friends will be comforted among all the mourners in Zion and Jerusalem and that the memory of Anne Chauveau will be for a blessing.
